The Refundable excess means, should the supplier charge you for the insurance excess following an accident, we will refund the money charged to you pending receipt of proper documentation (Receipt of payment, police report, damage report, etc.).
This is a refund of the excess payment, amounts charged for damage not covered by the excess would not be refunded. Nor would there be any refund if the supplier or police report determined that the damage was due to driver negligence.
